Updated 13 October 2026

English translation for information only; the French version prevails. Read the French version

Draft dated 13 October 2026, subject to approval by the President of HOPSTOCK. This text is not yet in force.

These general terms of use (the “Terms of Use”) govern access to and use of the brewstock.fr website. Purchases are governed by the Terms and Conditions of Sale; the processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy.

Article 1 – Website publisher

The brewstock.fr website is published by HOPSTOCK, a simplified joint-stock company with a sole shareholder (société par actions simplifiée à associé unique) with share capital of €1,000, whose registered office is at 2131 route de Merville, 59190 Hazebrouck, registered with the RCS (Trade and Companies Register) of Dunkerque under number 838 136 794. Full details are given in the Legal notice.

Article 2 – Acceptance and amendment of the Terms of Use

  • Use of the website constitutes acceptance of the Terms of Use in force. Creating an account requires their express acceptance.
  • HOPSTOCK may amend the Terms of Use. The applicable version is the one published online on the date of use.

Article 3 – What the website offers

  • brewstock.fr presents and sells hops produced by partner farms. HOPSTOCK sells these hops in its own name, on behalf of the growers: it is the sole seller, and the grower is named on each product page to indicate the origin of the product.
  • The information published about the growers (farm, municipality, practices, certifications) is provided by the growers themselves.
  • Access to the website is free of charge. Connection and equipment costs are borne by the user.

Article 4 – Customer accounts

  • Open registration. Any person of legal age may create a customer account. An account is required to place an order.
  • Accuracy of information. The user provides accurate information and keeps it up to date, in particular their delivery and billing details.
  • Business account. A customer purchasing for their business activity opens a business account by providing the company’s SIRET number and, where applicable, its intra-Community VAT number. Prices in that account are displayed excluding VAT, and the clauses of the Terms and Conditions of Sale that apply to business customers govern its orders.
  • Login details. Login details are personal and confidential. Any use of the account is presumed to have been made by its holder, who must notify HOPSTOCK without delay of any unauthorised use.
  • Closure. The user may request the closure of their account at any time by email to contact@brewstock.fr. HOPSTOCK may suspend or close an account in the event of a serious breach of the Terms of Use, after informing the holder, except in an emergency relating to the security of the website. Orders in progress will still be fulfilled, and data that the law requires to be retained (invoices in particular) are retained for the statutory period.

Article 5 – Grower accounts

  • Registration is not open to growers: their account is opened by HOPSTOCK, on request, once a grower contract separate from these Terms of Use has been signed.
  • That contract sets out the conditions under which HOPSTOCK sells their hops on their behalf, as well as their obligations (quality, certification, packing and shipping of parcels). In the event of any conflict, the grower contract prevails over the Terms of Use as regards relations between HOPSTOCK and the grower.
  • A grower does not itself sell on the website and enters into no contract of sale with brewstock.fr customers.

Article 6 – Rules of use

The user undertakes not to:

  • use the website for unlawful purposes or for purposes contrary to these Terms of Use;
  • impair the operation or security of the website, in particular through attempted intrusions, the sending of malicious software or large numbers of automated requests;
  • systematically extract the content of the website (catalogue, prices, grower data) without HOPSTOCK’s written consent;
  • impersonate a third party or create an account using false information.

Article 7 – Customer reviews

brewstock.fr does not currently display customer reviews. If this feature is made available, the rules governing how reviews are collected, checked and published will be set out here, in accordance with article L111-7-2 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation).

Article 8 – Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, logos, the “brewstock” trade mark and the layout of the website are protected by intellectual property law. They belong to HOPSTOCK or to third parties who have authorised HOPSTOCK to use them, in particular the growers for the photographs of their farms. Any reproduction or reuse without written permission is prohibited (articles L122-4 and L335-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code (Code de la propriété intellectuelle)). Simple links to the pages of the website are permitted.

Article 9 – Availability and liability

  • HOPSTOCK endeavours to keep the website accessible and its information accurate and up to date. Access may be interrupted for maintenance or in the event of an incident.
  • HOPSTOCK is not responsible for the content of third-party websites to which links refer.
  • HOPSTOCK’s liability in respect of sales is governed by the Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Article 10 – Personal data and cookies

Users’ personal data are processed in accordance with the Privacy policy, which also describes the use of cookies and how users can change their choices.

Article 11 – Governing law and contact

  • These Terms of Use are governed by French law.
  • For any questions: contact@brewstock.fr, or by post to HOPSTOCK, 2131 route de Merville, 59190 Hazebrouck.
