For brewers wanting to experiment with the aromas of Brewer's Gold, it gives notes of spice and blackcurrant when used for aroma.\r\n\r\nIt is quite close to its little sister, Bullion.<\/a>\r\n\r\nFrom an agronomic point of view, Brewers Gold appears to be fairly susceptible to diseases and insects, and today it is grown mainly in Bavaria.\r\n\r\nBrewer's Gold is the parent of many modern super-alpha varieties; it was used to breed varieties such as:\r\n
